Community AI for school co-ops

The money of a school co-op, in the open, with a robot that never spends alone.

Today one or two volunteers handle it with cash, a bank account and a spreadsheet. Minga is a treasurer that lives in Telegram: families contribute from a chat, bills get paid by rule, big ones wait for signatures, and every peso is public.

Minga: an Andean word for the whole community showing up to get a job done together.

Will the robot pay it?

Every bill goes through the same four checks in the contract. Move the amount and see which one stops it.

$ 28.400

$ 1.000$ 150.000

The robot pays it on the spot.

All four checks pass, so the contract lets the agent pay. The auditor is told as it happens.

And no matter the amount, it can never

  • pay a vendor that's not on the list
  • change budgets, caps or signers alone
  • pay itself
  • keep paying after a pause

The chat, from the inside

Watch a family, the board and two signers use it, one situation after another. The ledger moves with every message.
